Career Visibility

Find careers that fit what you like, and places nearby to try them. Answer in your own words, and see why each career fits. It's not a test.

We don't save your answers. Leave out your name, school, and contact details.

What happens to what you type

We send what you write, including a career you type, to an automated service to suggest careers to explore. Nothing here asks who you are.

Answer any of these. One box is enough to start.

Outside of school, what do you do when nobody makes you? Hobbies, sports, games, a job, chores you don't mind, things you've built, fixed, or made.

Not sure what to write? Tap any that sound like you, then add your own words if you want.

In school, which subjects do you actually like? Which do you hate? Name them. "Biology yes, English no" is enough.

Tap to add:

What are you good at? What do people come to you for? What have you figured out, organized, or fixed? What do you already know you can't stand? Crowds, blood, sitting all day, heights, being outside in winter, noise, being in charge...

Tap to add:

How much school after high school are you up for? None, or a few months of training. I want to work. One or two years: a certificate, an apprenticeship, or technical college. A four-year degree. More than four years if that's what it takes (medical school, law school, grad school). Not sure yet.

Is there a career you already have in mind? Pick the closest one. We'll check whether what you wrote lines up with it. Where do you live? Pick your county to see pay and places to try careers near you. It is only used for those.
