LinkLocally publishes public, organization-level information and keeps everything else to the minimum a reviewer needs. One policy covers every LinkLocally page, whichever partner reviews the records behind it.

In short
The directory shows what organizations already make public. Corrections, claims, and contact messages reach a reviewer and stay off public pages. What you type into Say what you need or Career Visibility is read once to rank results and is not stored.
LinkLocally is built and operated in Northeast Wisconsin by Build With You AI (Execentra LLC). Insight on Philanthropy is the reviewing partner for the Northeast Wisconsin nonprofit directory: its reviewers see the correction, claim, and update requests sent to that directory so they can act on them.
Organization-level nonprofit information: public names, categories, locations, websites, donation links, events, jobs, and story links, when those details have a reviewed public source.
If you use a correction, claim, profile update, contact, event, or job path, LinkLocally keeps what you send (your name, email address, relationship to the organization, and the note or change) so a reviewer can respond, plus a record of the decision. Public pages do not show submitter contact details.
An organization that claims its profile signs in with a one-time code sent to the email address on the claim. LinkLocally keeps that address and a record of who may manage the profile.
Bring it to your community sends your name, email address, and message to Build With You AI, which stores the message, emails you a confirmation from hello@send.linklocally.org, and replies from hello@linklocally.org. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
The sentence you type is read once by the AI model that does the matching, to rank results, and the public record of each organization is read the same way to produce the helps-with labels on profiles. LinkLocally does not store what you type, and we only use AI models whose terms keep what you type out of model training. If that ever changes, we will update this page first.
Leave your name, contact details, and anyone else’s private information out of the sentence; the matching works on the situation, not the person. Career Visibility never asks a student for a name, an age, or an account.
LinkLocally is not built for protected health information, client case notes, student records, benefits determinations, emergency requests, or payment card data. Please do not send that information through any LinkLocally page.
The site uses hosting, database, sign-in, error monitoring, analytics, email delivery, cache, and bot-protection services: Vercel, Supabase, Sentry, Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless), Resend, Upstash, and Cloudflare Turnstile, plus the AI model service that does the matching behind Say what you need and Career Visibility. Turnstile receives the verification interaction and network information it needs to tell people from automated abuse. Service keys and database connection strings never reach browser code.
LinkLocally uses aggregate page and interaction data to understand how the site is used and where paths break. It does not sell analytics as advertising data and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookies are the ones that keep an organization or operator signed in and the one bot protection needs. Accessibility preferences you choose stay in your own browser.
Review or removal
To correct or remove public information about an organization, use the directory’s contact and corrections page. Requests are reviewed before anything changes.
