Corrections
How to request a listing correction
Use the structured update path on a profile to suggest a correction. Submitted requests are reviewed before publication and do not change the public listing automatically.
Browse the directory to find an organization, then open its profile to start a reviewed correction request.
Looking for nonprofit readiness or training material? Explore Build With You AI resources. To ask about claiming a profile, share public, organization-level details and the directory team will review your interest before any workspace access is prepared.
- Find the listing
Open the organization's public profile from the directory or search.
- Pick the right path
Choose “Claim this nonprofit” if you own the listing, or “Suggest a correction” if you are sharing a community fix.
- Describe the correction
Describe the correction using public, organization-level information only. Requests are reviewed before any public change is published.
What we can include
Keep correction details public and organization-level
Share only public, organization-level information you would expect to see on a public nonprofit page.
- Helpful to share
- Public website, public donate or community-participation links, public service area, mission summary, category, and similar public-facing details.
- Please do not send
- No protected health information, case notes, student records, sensitive client data, clinical or legal advice, emergency intake, or benefits determination. The directory cannot review or publish that information.
- In an emergency
- This directory is not an emergency, crisis, clinical, legal, or benefits-determination service. In an emergency, call 911, or call or text 988 for mental health support.
