Regional context
Insight brings the local relationships and editorial context that make the directory feel grounded.

Our partnership
Insight on Philanthropy brings the regional nonprofit relationships and storytelling. LinkLocally turns that into a shared map of how Northeast Wisconsin takes care of its people, one place residents, funders, and partners can actually use.
Why we exist
Nonprofit work is everywhere in Northeast Wisconsin, but it is still too hard for residents, funders, employers, and civic partners to see the full ecosystem in one useful place.
The Insight on Philanthropy Nonprofit Directory is reviewed and approved by Insight on Philanthropy and powered by LinkLocally. Insight brings trusted community relationships, editorial review, and regional reach; LinkLocally provides the directory technology, the data, and the visibility infrastructure.
Insight on Philanthropy and LinkLocally are two distinct organizations working as partners. Listings begin with organization-level public information. Insight reviews and approves the curated directory record; LinkLocally stores and presents the approved data. Updates, enhanced content, and visibility changes follow the applicable review path before publication.
If a record needs correction, use the profile correction path or the contact and corrections page. We review the source, confirm the requested change, and publish only organization-level information that belongs on a public page. You can also review the verification policy or Visit Insight on Philanthropy.

Our values
These principles keep the launch useful, partner-led, and careful as the platform grows.
Insight brings the local relationships and editorial context that make the directory feel grounded.
LinkLocally maps the region's nonprofits by county and community need, so residents and partners see the whole picture, not just a list.
Enhanced profile details, corrections, events, jobs, and visibility updates remain reviewed before publication.
Every nonprofit remains findable through a baseline listing, verified organizations can manage core details for free, and enhanced profiles add richer visibility.
The platform is built to honor Insight's publication work without turning paid visibility into endorsement language.
Built to be useful now and handed off, a regional model other Wisconsin communities can run themselves.
The people behind it
Insight on Philanthropy, LinkLocally, and Build With You AI each have a defined role. Keeping those roles clear protects the directory's editorial review process and makes corrections easier to route.
Insight on Philanthropy is the non-paying editorial partner and a regional business publication. It reviews, approves, and owns the curated listings, bringing trust, audience, editorial review, and regional reach.
LinkLocally is the platform. It owns the data, technology, linklocally.org domain, and visibility infrastructure that make the directory useful and findable.
Build With You AI keeps the implementation careful, practical, and ready to grow without turning pilot features into public launch claims.
