More than 6,000 pets pass through Fox Valley Humane Association each year. As a no-kill shelter, FVHA gives every one of them safe shelter, medical care, and a path toward a home of their own.

No-kill care for animals who need it most.

FVHA is a no-kill shelter that provides care for more than 6,000 pets each year through comprehensive shelter programs, including pet adoption, fostering, volunteer engagement, stray animal services, and lost-and-found support. The shelter also offers community-centered medical and support services that aim to keep pets in their homes and out of shelters.

How support becomes care

From a gift or a volunteer shift to a pet's better life.

FVHA provides life-saving medical treatment, safe shelter, and a second chance at a better life, and the demand for that care has never been higher. Donations and volunteers turn directly into urgent treatment, rescue efforts, behavioral support, and daily shelter needs.

From now until Dec. 31, every donation up to $100,000 is doubled thanks to Mary Beth Nienhaus, multiplying each gift's impact.

Volunteers 13 and up help directly with the animals as dog walkers or cat socialization volunteers.
