Our mission

Meet the need today. Build the future together.

Since 1998, Manna for Life has served Brown County families living below 180% of the federal poverty line. The work is person-centered by design: food, clothing, and household goods relieve the pressure of right now, while job training opens a path back into the workforce and toward healthy, productive lives.

A pantry that feeds

The food pantry provides shelf-stable food and fresh produce to neighbors in Brown County facing real, immediate need.

A thrift store with purpose

Gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods find new life in the store, which doubles as the ministry's primary source of revenue.

Job training that lasts

The thrift store gives people room to learn workplace skills and step back into the workforce with confidence.

Seeds of hope

Beyond the immediate need, the ministry walks alongside neighbors so they can live healthy, productive lives.

Ways to help

From a donated item to a neighbor's fresh start.

The thrift store is the engine of the ministry. When the community donates goods or gives directly, those gifts become food on the table, household basics, and the on-the-job training that helps someone re-enter the workforce.
